To be fair book Tyrion didn't give shit about Shae and saw her mainly as a whore. He was more upset about the nobles laughing at him at the trial than Shae's testimony. So book Tyrion wouldn't be angry about her being with Tywin. He even kills her just almost without thinking. To cut Tysha from the equation is to lessen Tyrion into a simpering fool who thought a whore he paid actually loved him. The whole tragedy of Tyrion is that his father who should have loved him killed the only person in the world who actually loved Tyrion for Tyrion and his brother who stood up for him lied about it.

The dothraki only had hooked swords with no armor which wouldn't do shyt against an army of armored spearman and archers. The combat was so stupid in this show we saw in Brave heart that long spears can destroy calvary and especially one with no armor and only swords. Funny how at the end of that show they still had a huge army of dothraki even tho we all saw them get chewed up by the undead army. As someone who studies combat I just couldn't watch this show anymore it was cringe. lol

It's not just "bad pussy" that we remember about season five. We also remember Jaime and Bronn's idiotic mission to Dorne; Ellaria's insane plan to start a war; Meereen being dull as dirt; Barristan getting killed in some back alley; the eunach-translator love story; Stannis burning Shireen. There's still a lot of good stuff in season five. The cast is still kicking ass; Mance has a great sendoff in the opener; Cersei's troubles with the Faith. It also is the only season without Bran, so it gets points for that.

Season 1 - 4 is still some of the best T.V Ever, then the rest happened.

Rob and joffreys deaths were major deaths. Tommens suicide was too, to a lesser degree, but it was the biggest shock of that episode. Iconic window scene.

Fully believe Jamie tells Tyrion the truth because he's not going to see him again. Redemption arc means admitting past transgressions and trying to redeem his honor.

Forget the guilt part of it for a moment..if Jamie truly cares about Tyrion, perhaps in potentially their final moments together, he wants to tell him the truth about Tysha so that Tyrion knows that he actually can be loved by a woman! Give him hope that he could have a real loving relationship in the future.

Jaime has a huge secret he's kept from his brother for years. He now thinks this is the last time he'll see his brother. Simple.

The show did not include the Tysha confession because they had zero idea what to do with it. Many believe, for one example, that Tyrion will find her and it can definitely be used either to push Tyrion into a point of no return OR it could be used as the one event to SAVE his humanity. It all depends on what happens when they reunite. D&D have no source material and had no use of the confession

No. Jamie feels guilty and admit something to Tyrion because his undying loyalty to his family and the idealistic view of "being a Lannister" was already starting to crumble. Watching his father put his brother through this trial and all the bullshit with Castley Rock and being the heir vs him wanting to remain a King's Guard really made him start to accept that Tywin is a complete and utter scum bag. He literally bought into the whole using the lie as a form lf punishment to Tyrion. Jamie's entire arc is about him getting his humanity back and this is a great example

What sets Jaimie on this path could be the dream he had on the weirwood tree, the ghosts from the past, the moral choices he took and his life decisions were questioned. Taysha, although not brought in that dream, is definitely a poor moral choice on his part and unfinished business, and he decides just to take it out of his chest, to be honest with his brother.... it is a start...

It might be to tell us just what kind and how big of an asshole Jaimie really is. It was literally NOTHING to Jaimie. The Kindness he never did was lying about her being a hooker. IF this is the kindness he means-it is no kindness at all. It never was. If THIS is Jaimie thinking about Tysha, it is a 1 time thought. One time-and it isn't even a complete "thought." Tyrion...this is ALL he thinks about after being told. Jamie destroyed Tyrion, telling him this, and it doesn't seem to bother Jaimie at all.

Jamie thinks that this is the last time he will ever seen Tyrion and wants to tell him the truth. It's part of Jamie's redemption arc to tell his brother the truth as I'm sure the guilt had been eating at him the entire time. If I remember correctly Jamie does think about the Tysha incident in ASOS before he reveals the truth to Tyrion, but it's vague. This revelation is also what sends Tyrion over the edge since he feels betrayed by Jamie, who up until now Tyrion felt was the only person in Westeros who truly loved him. It's true Tyrion had enough motivation to kill Tywin already, especially after the Shae reveal, but Jamie's betrayal and the revelation that Tysha truly loved him all along are what send him into his villain arc in ADWD.
